So, I'm not feeling a whole lot better today. I still think I'm a complete fuck up. But I'm putting my happy face back on and moving forward because that's what I gotta do.

Some good news for the day: I sent out a mass email yesterday to everyone who might be a business contact; within just a few minutes I had a couple of promising posts from Reed College for Event jobs, and this morning Thea called me with the seeds of a business I thought about LAST time I was unemployed - doing office organization for people. The guy can only pay me $10/hour (I think going rate for this should be $20) but I'll take it because it gets my foot in the door. I would so very much love to be self-employed, and I'm damned good at organization.

Now I'm going to go and stop crying and clean up my face and apply for unemployment.

From everything I know about you and how you've handled your life (and adversities) I would never, ever classify you as a fuck up. You're a person of integrity and heart and yes, very good at organization! I believe you'll make it through just fine. Just reading the words "Reed College" gives me a shiver of happiness. It was one of my top-choice schools when I was applying back in high school.

Do you mean "office organization" in a professional organizer kind of way? That sounds really interesting.

P.S. Box one (have to find the toys and the other two double-size blankets) went out your way on Monday. Himself said it's going parcel post, so I'd give it about a week.

i send love to you with one thought. feel how you want. feel however you want. fell that way as much as you want. stop trying to adapt the extent of your feelings because of what anyone wants from you or what you think they expect from you. just be you even if that means "dumping your stress." i don't mind what you do as long as you do what you want and need to.
