I'm Deb. I'm 44, and live in Portland, Oregon, with my wife/partner of 19.5 years. Current 4-legged census is five cats and two rabbits. I have a 6-year-old grandson, and a 6-month-old granddaughter.
I am a Realtor. I love finding people homes they love. Seriously, I love my work and I haven't always been able to say that. I also make and sell spiced (also called pickled) peaches and drinking vinegars. Ask me, they're delicious.
I don't read as many books as I used to, but I read magazines all the time: Sunset, Mental Floss, Budget Travel, Country Life, American Road, Newsweek, Portland Monthly. I love to garden, and to cross-stitch. I like sunshine and snow and fall colors and hot summers. I don't like cold grey clouds and rain, at least not on a regular basis.
I am really good at starting things and not so good at finishing them, I'm easily distracted and get bored quickly, and I tend to obsess for a while and then completely lose interest. I can be judgmental although I try not to be mean, and I'm usually hardest on myself. I'm a pretty optimistic person. My spirituality tends to the pagan with some buddhism thrown in. The older I get, the less tolerant of bullshit I find myself.
I also hate writing bios, but this isn't too bad.
Here are a couple of testimonials, too:
when it's difficult, you do everything to keep it together. When the
Christian Coalition talks about family first, they don't realize they are
talking about you and how hard you work to make your home happy, healthy,
and safe.
Also, you know the anguish of Southeast Oregon"
