Friday we went to the Harry Potter thing with [livejournal.com profile] andromeda6, Brandy, Shannon and the Zinger. He was the littlest Harry there - we used Shannon's black lipstick to give him a little scar. He was a very popular photo subject!!

I have NOT finished the book, and appreciate y'all not making me all spoily - although I think I might have been spoiled by the jocks on the radio this morning. I hope I turned it fast enough but who knows.

Saturday, CJ, Shannon and I went garage sale-ing in the rain; didn't get a lot of fabulous bargains, but we did have a good time talking. Then there was ritual Scrabble with [livejournal.com profile] frisia69 and [livejournal.com profile] alphaskye, which is NEVER not fun. This round was made even more amusing by the addition of Arbor Mist, which Kels and I drank straight from the bottle. Much giggling ensued.

Sunday we went and found the first raspberries of the season with [livejournal.com profile] andromeda6 and Brandy; we got 6 quarts rain or no damned rain. So what if water ran down my arm into my sweatshirt with each berry picked?? Damned rain. We finished off the day with fresh salmon and veggies, and cream cheese pie.

I put Scott's requested projects (good starts, they won't ever be finished, probably) on this desk this morning; I think he was surprised that they were actually done. *raspberry to him, and not the good kind*

Bryant gets paid on Friday and will be out by Saturday. I feel sorry for him, but damn - he's 36 and he's never lived on his own? It's time, dude.

Out by Saturday

Wow, that is fast.

I agree that the giggly scrabble was great fun! :)

What a fun weekend.

About Bryant -- it's about time he started to grow up. *sigh*

I've got about a dozen regular-size flannel receiving blankets and those three double-sized double-size homemade ones ready to send your way. Got a question, though...

While digging through my fabric stash looking for flannel for another project, I found a Winnie-the-Pooh nursery panel. It's preprinted with four burp cloths, two drooler bibs, a changing pad and a bottle cover. It includes instructions and a supply list of cloth and notions to finish them. Are you interested in that too?

I'm trying to get the baby stuff we don't need out of the house before we move; I recently finished with outgrown clothing. If there's anything else you guys could use, I have lots of 4- and 8-ounce bottles (supply your own nipples), a battery/AC-powered breast pump (Evenflo Press 'n Go, used for 8 weeks), an older Snugli baby carrier, an adjustable-height booster seat (straps to a regular dining chair), and some miscellaneous baby toys (sterilized or laundered, depending on the toy).

You're so wonderful! What can I send you to help with shipping or say thanks? What kind of ephemera do you like best?

I would love the flannel, the toys and the snuggli - Shannon's not breastfeeding so we can't use the pump, and it's too soon for the booster seat.
