We're going to the Harry Potter party tonight at Jantzen Beach Buns and Noodle; I hate Dobby with the fire of a thousand burning nuns but we're dressing up the baby in a teatowel and a doily-hat. Any excuse for me to wear my RenDress!

Taking Shannon to (possibly) two different public Solstice rituals this weekend: SisterSpirit on Saturday night, Reclaiming on Sunday afternoon. I am very interested in the Reclaiming one.

I've heard vague rumors about a Reclaiming group around here; I'd love to learn more. I'm not Wiccan, exactly, but I like their style.

Same here - I've always enjoyed the personal as political. The local chapter here has done some very interesting activism, particularly around the war...a Magical Guerrilla Theatre, if you will.

Hi! I looked last night but my heavens there were a zillion people there! I did ask a few girls all in black if they were Sara. :)

I've only made it to page 61 - too much to do - but I'm loving it already.

Here's the info on the rituals this weekend. I'm solitary also, but sometimes it's nice to get together with a large group!

Thanks for the info. Last minute, decided at home was the place to be for the solstice.
Yeah, for the HP release, I got there later than expected. I was having such a good time at the MeetUp I stayed there for a long time. So by the time I got to Barnes and Noble, the line was to the front door. I then presented my pre-order receipt at the door and they told me my name was not on the list (even though I ordered on 8 Feb.) and that I could wait in line as #456 and they might have one copy available for me. So, I politely pitched a fit, they managed to find a copy, but they wouldn't sell it to me then. So, I picked it up bright and early on Sat. at the shop. I think I am just past page 200. And all I can say so far is 'wow'.
