sageandseaA little update before I go read the 300 or so friends-posts from this weekend!
Pride was wonderful yesterday (we missed you![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pilarcruz; we had the whole usual contingent of family and friends. Zinger was much cooed over; there was a rumor going around that he was andromeda6 and Brandy's baby! We saw tons of people we haven't seen in quite a few years, including Jenny, who had to drink some courage before she could come say hi - silly girl. I picked up a skirt from Rhea's booth, because CJ insisted, but I didn't get anything else. Janna was oddly cold. Micah was oddly friendly! Maria is getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
Shannon seems to be in the process of breaking up with Bryant - they are writing to one another (even though they live in the same house); he is leaving notes with crying faces drawn on them. This would be easier if I were a colder person, or if he was really an abusive dick and not just some clueless dumb guy. So I'm trying to stay the hell out of the way. I do believe it's best for Shannon, only because she is so young and hasn't really grown up - it will be good for her to have space in which to do that, and she really seems to blossom when he's not around (she had a wonderful time at Pride).
And that's all I can do, really - I want to catch up but I'm going to have to get to work on this project. Writing a technical manual is good for your resume, I keep telling myself. Too bad I'm not getting paid what a tech writer gets paid.
