1. Do your close friends tend to be older or younger than you? What can people learn about you by looking at your friends?
I have both - very few friends right around my age, though! My closest friends are younger. I'm not sure what you'd tell from looking at them - that I'm gay, maybe, since most of my (local) friends are.
2. When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
I sing a lot - in the shower and in the car, mostly. I sang to the baby last night. I sang in the Portland Lesbian Choir for two terms and loved it.
I never said I sang well, though!
3. Did you like the series finale of Buffy? Why or why not?
I did like it. I know bitching about Buffy is popular, and I do some myself, but I really loved Spike's story and his redemption - he's the reason I watch the show.
4. What traits do you hope Zinger learns from you? From CJ?
I hope he learns to love to read - from both of us. I hope he learns to be independent, and honorable. I hope he doesn't disappear.
5. What are you afraid of? Does anything you're afraid of have roots in your childhood?
Irrationally, I'm afraid of moths. The big kind, that fly at you and get in your hair. Their bodies make little tapping noises and you have to really smush them to kill them. I got that one from my mom.
Rationally, I'm afraid to show anger, or to lose control. SOMEONE has to keep it together! And this one is totally childhood based as well - my mom was an addict and alcoholic, and my dad worked to stay out of the way.
