My interview questions

If you want me to interview you--post a comment that simply says, "Interview me." I'll respond with questions for you to take back to your own journal and answer as a post. Of course, they'll be different for each person since this is an interview and not a general survey. At the bottom of your post, after answering the Interviewer's questions, you ask if anyone wants to be interviewed. So it becomes your turn-- in the comments, you ask them any questions you have for them to take back to their journals and answer. And so it becomes the circle.
Here are my questions and answers....if you want me to interview you, let me know!
1. What did you always dream about being when you grew up?
Oddly, I don't think I really did dream about anything in particular. A mommy, a nurse, a teacher, maybe, when I was very small. I think I was spending too much time taking care of the family to think ahead.
2. How did you meet C.J.?
We met as members of ACT UP; I really and truly thought she hated me. Then one day she asked me to take her home, and we started talking, and discovered that she is just painfully shy / social-anxiety-girl.
3. You sell so many seemingly unrelated things on eBay. What makes you pick up something and say, "Hey, this seems like something good to auction"?
CJ has an eye for toys and collectibles; I seem to be really good at ephemera, books (no surprise there) and odd household bits. There isn't a specific thing I look for, other than condition, really - just if it catches my eye or not.
4. What is your favorite flower? Why?
I love most flowers....I love lilacs because they remind me of my mom and grandmother, pansies for their sweet faces and stubborn-ness, daffodils massed because they are so bright in the grey springtime.
5. What does the color blue bring back memories of? Why?
My great-aunt Lettie and great-uncle Steve had a farm in Grants Pass which I just loved to visit. In their kitchen, there was an open wall full of cobalt glass - bottles, vases, all sorts of things - which I was just fascinated by.
