First off: WOW!! I'm just stunned that there are almost 100 people out there who think I'm interesting enough to read. Thank you and welcome to you all; I'm trying to add you back and read through your journals as I can (I'm up to February for [livejournal.com profile] rubrchik so far!) but it's trade show week so I've been a little busy.

I got....oh, NO sleep this weekend. Actually, got about 5 hours on Friday night and 6 Saturday, then last night about 3 since I took the Zinger so Shannon could sleep. But we got to watch movies with CJ, Shannon, [livejournal.com profile] andromeda6 and Brandy (Legally Blonde and Treasure Planet, which made me cry like a baby), and we got to play scrabble and visit with [livejournal.com profile] frisia69 and [livejournal.com profile] alphaskye, who bought me hummus and salmon and all kinds of yummy things because I am menstrual and craving salty goodness.

Zinger got his PKU stick this morning - I had to be the bad Nana and hold him while he got poked and squeezed, but at least that's over with until his 2 month shots.

Saturday we went down to the Mississippi Street fair with the kids, very fun despite being cold and wet. There was a pretty wild weather system in the area, two or three funnel clouds down south in the valley, but just hail and a big thunderclap where we were. Had lunch at the Soup & Soap (laundry in front, the best southern food in Portland so far in the back!). Sunday we ran a few estate sales, bbq'd, Skye gave Brandy some physical therapy as the kiddo has pinched a nerve or popped a vertebrae or something, weeded and planted.

We have in the ground now: two zuchinni, two patty pans, one hungarian was pepper, two eggplants, three gypsy sweet peppers, two mini pumpkins, two tomatoes (one cherry and one large), and some beans to grow up the fencing. Whew! Still need to get in watermelon, and hmmm...more veggies! Oh, and there's an artichoke in a pot.

Wow, February! I'm much impressed.

I'm sad to say that I've quite slacked off in reading your journal. I'm in the throes of [livejournal.com profile] shadesong's, and I've always been the type of person who can only read one thing at a time. Yours is next, though, I promise! :)

No worries - 'song's journal is much more daunting than mine. Don't feel obligated to read mine, either! I'm enjoying yours very much.
