It's ridiculous (base RIDICULE), not rediculous. WHY is it suddenly being spelled wrong everywhere? Or am I just being a spelling bitch?

Bad typing? The "e" and "i" keys are both typed with the middle finger....

On the other hand, these could be the same people who type "could of" for "could've".

Snicker... I don't know. What I do know is that, the previous spelling mistake du jour was "definately" as opposed to "definitely". Drove me nuts.

I think it's due to the current fad of elongating words as you speak them. You know, like someone saying "Oh now that is just reeeeeeeeediculous." People have an unfortunate tendency to spell things as they hear them.

That's just my current theory though. Subject to change without notice.
