I love living in Portland, where Klingon is a recognized language for the Mental Health Dept. Remember, folks, the chance that someone is actually going to PAID for this is slim and only occurs if their services are USED. It's not like some Trekkie/Trekker boy or girl is getting paid $30K/year to sit around and wait for someone to show up speaking Klingon. Or Elvish.

Sunday, we weeded the side yard and planted flowers and veggies (hungarian wax peppers, gypsy sweet peppers and an eggplant), and got one box built in the parking strip. This first one will hold zuchinni and pattypan squash.

The kids took us out for mother's day dessert on Friday night since Brandy was going to be working all weekend. My choice of venues left a little to be desired (bar fight, no ice cream) but it was still nice to sit and talk to them w/o company!

Scrabble on Saturday, and a decision to rotate houses - Scrabble nights when

frisia69 works will now be at their house. Sounds good to me. Huh, wonder if they'd freak if we brought the Zinger? Since Saturday is usually when we try to give Shannon a full night's sleep. I can switch that to Friday easily though.

CJ managed not to kill Bryant. As

andromeda6 says, he seems really directable but has zero iniative to do anything w/o direction. People like that drive me insane.
