May. 2nd, 2003 09:31 amI actually talked to the woman at Banfield this morning, apparently the woman who gave the phone interview gave me very high marks. And since one position is EA to the VP of Human Resources, my insurance/benefits background is very exciting to them. All of this sounds wonderful.
Last night we had a big BBQ, but didn't get to celebrate Beltaine properly as both Shannon and the Zinger kept us up late. There were fireworks though - opening night of PIR. And there will be fireworks I can see tonight at 10, for Cinco de Mayo. The Zinger gets to see his first fireworks!
Today, it's cleaning up, filing, kicking ass to make sure everything is in it's place and everyone has their reports. Carl is taking me to lunch and then we're tearing down the lobby display for the May shows...and I just keep reminding myself that I may not be here by the time the shows are over. It's such a happy thought.
You know, considering how much actual work I do, I should be happy to be here, getting paid for LJ time and surfing, but I'm really not. I'd much rather be busy and have no surfing time, and get paid better. And it's hard enough to support two people with what CJ & I bring in, let alone four adults and a baby! So thank you all, so very much, for your good wishes!!
