It's Saturday, and it's sunny outside, and where am I? I am at work, making PowerPoint presentations for Mr. Last Minute, who knew he was going to Phoenix on Wednesday but didn't have me start these until 5 after 5 yesterday.

Oh well! I'll get 3 hours comp time out of it, which is nice, and we didn't have much of an agenda today, and I actually really like making presentations (although these guys insist on printing them to use as overhead slides, which in my mind defeats the purpose).

Once they're done printing (5 pages to go), I'll be home then we'll go to Tulip for hot cross buns (only available during Lent) and then maybe to the protest downtown. They're expecting 50,000 people. I love living in Little Beruit TM George Bush Sr.

At least the transparencies mandate that you won't have to insert fancy animated transitions....

It's so sad, though...I love the flashy little animated transitions; that's half the fun of putting together a presentation and I never get to use them. Plus, I think (geek-snob that I am) that it looks less "professional" or something to not use the presentation as it was meant to be used.

Definitely a techno-snob.

Hehe... well, okay, the geeks will notice, but on the other hand, I don't think many of the business people will. :)

This is what comes of starting my secretarial career at a dot.com. I would NEVER in a million years have considered printing slides of a presentation and using them on an overhead! What year is this?? LOL
