I have a question for you - do people actually use Cascading Style Sheets, or not?

I love them. I lovethemlovethemlovethemlovethem. My personal page and LJ are designed completely with style sheets. Which means they don't always show up the way they're supposed to, but it degrades well. I hate - and this includes the site of my beloved Trenty - when you HAVE to have flashe or the latest plug-in of this, or that certain browser, to view a page. That's why I love style sheets so. Even if they don't render well, they don't screw up the text.

The web folks here at work (IRS contractors who maintain IRS Intranet sites) do use them. They're big on consistency throughout the sites belonging to the Branch we support, so they use CSSs.

Hope that helps.

Most people I know, including my husband when he's not using PHP, swear by them.

I've recently come to appreciate them. When they first came out, I hated them because I could never make them cascade properly, but that was mostly because of browsers that didn't support them.

i swear by them -- used to be i didn't use them much as they didn't degrade gracefully, but now i can't see not using them...
