Weekend update

sageandseaFriday night was quiet, CJ was feeling crampy and cold so we made something warm and cuddled. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
faecrow and niac got into town around 9ish and were starving, so I left the babe to the couch and the cats and took them to Chez What for fish & chips. It was so cool to meet them finally! And discover we have a lot in common - no surprise, but you know.
Saturday we ran to the bank and post office, then back home to meet up withtwo_star, who showed up first (right behind the Jehovah's Witnesses), and Liss and Gabe and alphaskye and Kelly. We finally decided on food and ended up at Gustav's, where much cheese and sausage and chocolate were eaten. Then back to the house for talk - politics, books, gossip, all the things that people who've never actually met face to face talk about. :D Round about 9 Gabe was hungry again, so we went up to the Overlook for a late bite, and they were all off.
Sunday we finally got up about 10.30 (still wish we'd hooked up for breakfast, Liss) and were out garage sale-ing by noon. The sales were terrible, though - we didn't find anything at all, so we got groceries and I started tearing apart an old bookcase to make a new one in the Shipping Room. Skye and Kel showed up around 6.30 or so and there was much baking of brownies (all Skye, not me) and Scrabble and tea drinking. Also, kitten rating. We got to bed around 1, woke up at 5.30 then woke up again when the alarm went off, very reluctantly!
And here I am. Thus endeth the weekend.
