Saturday we went shopping. We went to Lowe's and discovered that they have a good selection of some stuff that would make it worth the drive to Tigard, but not on a regular basis. We went to Washington Square, and Lane Bryant had bras on sale for $10! The only difference between the $10 and the $30 cleavage-enhancing bras? The colors were "winter" instead of "spring", meaning deep rich colors I LIKE were cheaper than nasty pastels. Yay me! Saturday night included television, music and Scrabble. I used TWoP as a word (we allow abbreviations, and dirty words automatically score double points).

Sunday morning CJ woke us both us by asking my I wasn't up for work yet - not a bad thing, but much earlier than I'd meant to get up. I was all full of energy anyway and got started painting the shelves for the office, figuring it would dry by the time I was done reading the paper, and it was! I also ran to Freddies in my slippers and sweats to get donuts for the babe, all before 10 am. Scary. Then we put up shelves, cleaned the office closet out and rearranged, and went to some estate sales, and played more Scrabble. The office is looking really finished and I'm happy to have my dolls up finally! Only the bedroom and the bathroom left on the main floor, along with kitchen finishing (it's a kitchen, it's going to go slower).

And I ended last night by dropping a pole on my nose - the curtain rod in front of the closet door came off the ceiling (we have high ceilings, too) and hit be right on the bridge of the nose. Thank heavens it didn't hit my eye or down lower, it might have broken it. As it is I just have a nice bruise right between my eyes. Whee!

Cold (32F), windy (sustained 30 mph) and dry (27% hum) weather = Valley Falls, not Portland. I like it.

Washington Square is in my neighborhood, although I don't do much bra shopping.

I do like the weather. But what I really want is snow.

See, my completely futile, crazy hope is that this cold snap (shut up, you people who have been in the 0's lately) will turn into snow once a little moisture moves in. It could happen. Really!

The pyramids are so lovely this time of year.
