Weekend update

sageandseaSaturday was Ann's memorial - I kind of expected CJ to be a little fussy about getting up and going first thing on a Saturday morning, but she was fine - drank some coffee, looked at the clock and said "aren't we running late?". We weren't - got to the church by 10.45 and even found a place to sit. It was packed, and a lovely service. I need to find some of the quotes that Rev. Troy Perry used to remind myself to live as fully as Ann did.
Sunday we went driving around with the kids - Bek got into an accident last Wednesday and has an SUV for her rental (free upgrade city!). We were planning on going up to Hood, but since she's still sore, and it was raining on the mountain anyway, we will wait. We took advantage of the drive to get some stuff we'd never have gotten into my little car, like a new TV for the basement, since we should be working on that room by spring.
