Mmm, very relaxing
Jan. 20th, 2003 10:45 amStill, still have this damned jet-laggy cold! Grrr.
Friday, we took the kids out to dinner and gave them their anniversary present - tickets to David Sedaris when he comes to town in April. This went over very well :) Then a Target run, just 'cause we hadn't been there in over two weeks and CJ was going through withdrawals. We picked up a game called Pop Smarties and sat around all night reading the cards at one another (screw the actual rules, we don't need your stinking rules!) and giggling over who remembered which cheesy 80's trivia.
Saturday was errand running day as always, then games at the girls' new house - Upwords is interesting, and not as easy as I thought it would be.
Sunday, CJ & I went to the auction. She got two gargoyle garden-bits and a vintage early 50s electric mantle clock in wonderful condition. I got a ton of vintage baby clothes to sell, including an absolutely adorable blue wool coat with felt flowers WITH matching purse! The label says "Califonia Sportster". I'm going to have to do a little research on the best market for these - not sure it's eBay.
Today I have noooooooooooo wooooooooooooork! So, on my list of things to do today:
Avenue is having a 70% off sale.
Go find a dorsal splint.
Send out card to Susie & Katie.
Finish the blue on cupboard 1.
That's not too ambitious, AND involves shopping! That can't be too bad.
