Buffy, New Years
Jan. 2nd, 2003 10:11 amNew Buffy next Tuesday! I'll have to get someone to tape it, because I don't think that "staying in the hotel room to watch Buffy" is on CJ's list of fun things to do in New Orleans.
I don't drink much, and being around drunk people is not a huge turn-on for me, so we usually stay home on New Year's Eve. I got off work early so I could meet Kevin & Barb on their way through, and promptly got crampy, so I took a little nap while Skye & CJ went grocery shopping. Then they made me a wonderful dinner, and we spent a very low-key evening watching tv and enjoying each other's company. The boys across the street, Tim & Clay, came out to blow things up 'round 11.30, and we joined them - appears they are big pyros like me. I'll have to remember that around the 4th of July next year :D Kelly got there just in time for the new year, we blew up more stuff, and did more hanging out. I'm not terribly exciting.
New Year's day was nice, I slept about 8 hours which is a lot for me! Then was taking down the Christmas stuff, which we normally wouldn't do until this weekend but since we're leaving Sunday, we didn't want to push for time. I already feel rushed enough, but I think that's partly because I'm thinking ahead a few months for work done on the house, instead of just thinking of what needs to be done before we leave.
I have so many things I want to be doing right now! Sadly, none of them are work related, and since I'm here and not home, I guess I'll go screw Mr. Last Minute's power strip to the wall.
