Went to the nice tax man yesterday and discovered that although I have been supporting Shannon and the baby since he was born in April, I can't motherfucking claim them as dependents because they didn't live with me the full year. Now, if they were LEGALLY my daughter-in-law and grandson, I would be able to, but as my partner of THIRTEEN YEARS and I don't have the right to marry, I can basically eat it.
