Tuesday starts the summer dress code at work, which I have personally been ignoring all this week. Yes, that's right, I have been wearing open toed sandals and NO NYLONS. Because it's 90 damned degrees outside!
Boss, here's a thought for you (which I did, in fact, say to his face): when presented with an employee who doesn't even make her age, because you didn't fight for a raise for her, don't whine about how little you get on stock options. Just sayin'.
We got so much done on the yard that ... it's done! All that's left is moving the dirt on each side up to the space where the porch will go - that won't take nearly as long as the weeding did. The basketball hoop is gone, everything is growing nicely...here, see what you think.
We're planning on playing hotel roulette one day this weekend (probably Saturday) - I'm not even sure which direction we're heading yet but it will be fun just to drive! Even more fun if CJ convinces me we can afford a CR-V this weekend.
I could do this for the rest of the afternoon, really, but I guess I'll go find something that looks more like work.
