The highlights of the weekend are planting peas and doing some weeding in the bright bright warm sunshine on Saturday. Otherwise, it was a weekend - good coffee and heavy conversation, knitting, saleing, avoidance, frustration, love.

This is where we're going for a much-needed mini-vacation in March. The Orient Express Caboose, high on the romantic time alone chart. Hey dreamingcrow, we're a ferry ride away this time - perhaps we can come visit one night we're up there? No promises but it's possible. March 10-13.

Ah, because we were going to Hawaii. Instead, we're going local and cheaper, and we're going to use the not-insignificant amount of money Hawaii would have cost to finish the evil bathroom. Hawaii will still be there next year.

i'm making mine because it's the only way i'll have enough vacation time and money to fly the kids out for xmas.

hopefully, by next year, she'll have it together enough to pay her own way.

Hell, Deb, you're going to be on the Peninsula. Gabriel will be out of town as of the 12th. I could probably be convinced to come out there with the boys to visit on the 12th. ^_^ Maybe I'll even set it up to make that the night that we stay on Marrowstone Island at Fort Flagler.
