I am about to bleed. I've noticed that this seems common on my flist - are we all working around to the same schedule, as women who share a home occasionally do?

And I have seen some fascinating names for the process reading LJ! For me, the process is Ruby - Ruby has come to visit, Ruby smokes too much, Ruby wants cheesecake. Thank rensarockstar, I got it from her. What do YOU call it?

Perhaps the impending doom of Ruby is what is making me so pissy/angsty/ready to quit my job/hate hate hate everyone at work. Oh, that could just be work, too.

i have to expand on my poll response (which is no). if i were remotely normal, i would be, but my period only lasts 1-2 days, and i started on tuesday evening.

You're close, though! I'm just interested statistically; I've heard that it's just an old wives tale but I know in my circle of friends we're very close to the same cycle.

It's kind of nice when a group of friends wolfs together. Everyone is having those urges to lay about and eat chocolate and watch bad movies all at the same time.

And to expand on the names portion of the poll, The Girl jokingly refers to it as 'riding the cotton pony'. Which always makes me laugh.

This has been documented somewhere in a study done in a woman's dorm. I've noticed that I and my female coworkers generally develop a similar cycle. I'm at the tail end of mine, which normally lasts 7-10 days. Is that TMI from a total stranger?

As for the poll, one on my flist calls it The Red Army. I call it my friend from out of town. Lately that bitch has been arriving early and unannounced!
