It's late. The street is dark and quiet, just late evening noises - the train on Interstate chugging by occasionally, crickets, the frogs next door. It's finally cool enough to sit outside and enjoy the night.

From the next block, a sudden woman's voice, singing along to a stereo we can't hear: We have the right to be angry, what are we waiting for? Her voice drops, but I'm already singing along. ...stand up and face the enemy, it's a do or die situation, we will be invincible...

She even went for the high notes.

Ooooh, I love this anthem. It *should* be Kerry's campaign song.

And the movie's not that bad either - you even get to hear Yeardley Smith (voice of Lisa Simpson) swear - and a good line to boot -

Putter (Yeardley's character): "He's not going to give it back."
Sheriff: "Why not?"
Putter: "'Cause he's a *fucker*, that's why."

I'm clearly out of the movie loop, but that's not surprising (I hardly ever see movies). I absolutely agree about making it a Kerry anthem, though!
