* We walked 1.5 miles Sunday night, and we walked 3+ miles last night - from the house to downtown, in search of frozen custard. There was none, but it was a nice walk. Took us about an hour.

* I was an idiot and left my window down one too many times - someone stole all the change from my change jar, my CD player (although the left the in-dash radio/tape player, thank goodness), and a bunch of CDs. The CDs are mostly home-mixes of punk covers, so they're unsellable. Dumbasses.

* Bought myself a "Teach Yourself Project 2000" book on Sunday - I am down to 3 days to learn all about this project and take over it's management. It's only a useful tool if it's updated, that much I can tell - everything looks like it's currently months behind, and I know it's not!

Any project management tool needs to be kept up-to-date. This includes not only the Gantt and PERT diagrams and other timelines, but the actual prose-form project plan, too.

I live in very quiet and peaceful rural environment. My office parking lot is fenced and guarded. But just to not teach myself any bad habits, I keep the car locked and things secured, whether it is on the guarded parking lot or in my carage.

I'm sorry to hear about the car invader/thief. That sucks!

But good for you on the walking. That sounds good at least.

How is the new job treating you?
