I burned a CD for my dad last night - here it is for those of you what will know the songs. I forgot one until this moring - Mockingbird Hill - but I intend to ask him what songs he would like to have from his kidhood along with the disc, so maybe it will go on that one. These are mostly songs that I remember him singing or enjoying when I was growing up. Except the first and the last.

Daddy's Girl
Big Bad John
Do You Want to go to Heaven
King of the Road
Blind Man in the Bleachers
Yippee Ki Yi Yo
16 Tons
Rocky Top
North to Alaska
Dang Me
Country Bumpkin
Lukenbach Texas
Hey Good Lookin'
Daddy's Hands

Your dad has bitchin' taste in music. :-)

I see you found "Blind Man in the Bleachers."

Ah, Chris, I knew you'd like the list!

Thank you for helping me find it, btw; it was much appreciated!

A new question - where would I start for the best in bluegrass? What groups, I mean.

Classic or contemporary?

Both, I guess. I'm more partial to classic in terms of country, obviously, but I don't know (or know if I know) much bluegrass.

It's gonna take me a little time to give this question the attention it deserves. :-)

Nifty! What does it say about me that I own about two thirds of those?
