sageandseaWe got up at the asscrack of dawn yesterday after staying up too late the night before...but it was worth it to hear fab new music from Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine courtesy of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alphaskye. It took about 4 hours to get to Bend, god knows why, and then only another 2 to get to Valley Falls. Spent a lovely evening with my grandmother and grandfather, dad and Lola...saw Gloria for all of two seconds, then after dinner she was "too tired" to come visit. Bitch.
Switched hotels this morning to get a smoking room, and ended up with high-speed access too, sweet since I brought the work laptop (just in case, you know - HA!). Now hoping that CJ will feel better soon, or I'll leave her here in the hotel and go visit some more.
Pictures later. I couldn't stop smiling once I hit the high desert...it's so incredibly beautiful here. And green in the spring! And warm....just lovely.
