The Oregonian ran an article today about the spiritual implications of the movie "Groundhog Day," which made me need to watch it again. It is pretty damned life-affirming, actually; a perfect movie for this holiday.

Have you seen it recently? What do you think? Talk amongst yourselves....well, talk here, so I can read it, actually.

I really like the movie, despite it having What's-Her-Annoying-Self in it. I've always liked the message, and it still makes me laugh at certain points.

We're going to watch it tonight- it's one of J's favorites. We were going to watch it Sunday, except there was The Game. *eye roll*

that is one of the few movies which I watched repeatedly after renting it - I found it to be hysterically funny, thought-provoking, a little Tao and a lot touching. I always like movies about personal redemption but Groundhog Day was a wonderful surprise becuase I didn't know what to expect at all when I first sat down to watch it.
The life-affirming properties were a breath of fresh air in todays cynical society.
