The internet is a beautiful place.

I've watched today as a community came together to help someone in dire need, to help a complete stranger from all around the world. And then I've watched as people turned it into something ugly and paranoid.

I choose to believe.

I really pity those who don't, or can't.

The ugliness is that we have to be that skeptical because of all the scam artists out there, and that more proof is required than simply "Cuz I said so, that's why!"
