Second place AGAIN! The Evil Empire has reduced positions from 6 to 4, and I'm number fucking FIVE! So IF the four they have come in to shadow don't make it, THEN I might get a call. This is the THIRD TIME.

Argh.

Oh well - there's always LNS, and the Apartment Guide people, and Dark Horse, and (*shudder*) doing Customer Service again for Blue Cross.

Write the world's most fabulous thank you notes to each and every person you even smiled at at the interview. Tell the main person that you really appriciated her time blah blah blah, and to keep you in mind if anything appropriate opens up and then put it out of your mind. After all, it for all intents and purposes would make no difference if you'd been #400,000, so on with the job hunt.

And hey, at least you're getting interviews. I could kick things, I'm so tired of applying for things I'm overqualified for and getting no response to. meh.
