Oy, my muscles.
Ice is heavy! We moved a metric assload of it away from the house in the back yard, so that when it melts it doesn't flood the basement. Then we took a drive! No chains, mind you, just my little '95 Kia v. the icy road. It was fun! Some slipping, some sliding, but no hitting anything; 'course, it did take about 45 minutes to do a 2 mile trip....
