Heh. Just yesterday I was reading a messageboard thread at TwoP comparing Smallville and Buffy. One person commented how sad it was that SV had backed away from the Lex/Clark friendship because of all the speculation that it was romantic/sexual and how now on the show they barely seem to know each other, and how much better the Buffy writers had handled that sort of thing, mostly giving it a wink and a nod rather than doing their best to deny/contradict any homosexual subtext.

So when I watched that scene in last night's Angel, I thought, "Heh, how right they were. Feel the HoYay!"
