sageandseaToday...well, yesterday since it's technically Saturday now...was absolutely lovely - thank you so much again, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
frisia69! We were on our way to Eugene by 9 am, and got to the Oregon Country Fair by around 1 pm (after a tour of scenic Eugene!). Then we walked and looked and shopped and walked and looked and smoked (only tobacco, thank you, although 'twould have been quite simple to say "excuse me, young man dressed in a blue bear suit, would you mind passing that over here?") and looked. The site is so incredibly beautiful - according to Kelly the Fair owns the land so it's Private, and over the years of the Fair it's as though the booths grow out of the woods themselves. Some of them have 2nd stories where the Vendors can sleep, and there is a virtual tent city back behind where non-FairFamily don't usually go. Truly lovely.
Then we had dinner at a little Mexican place in Eugene, and ate way too much, and very sleepyfrisia69 slept for about 10 minutes, and we stopped at DQ in Salem. I love driving, and alphaskye's car is sweet. The baby was pretty damned wonderful, just a few "I'm TIRED!" crying jags; most of the time he was most content to nap in the stroller or look around with big blue eyes. I'll have a few pictures, eventually. Stupid non-digital cameras.
